Go
to blending options and use these settings:
Rasterize
the layer. Now it should look like this:
Make
a new layer and put the new layer under the “ice
text” layer. And make it so it look like this:
Click
on the “ice text” layer and put the 2 layers
together (Ctrl+E). Change the name on the layer to “ice
text”.
Ctrl+M
and change the curves on the ”ice text”
layer.
Ctrl+U
and use this settings.
Now
we are going to add some inner glow into the text. Go
to blending optitions and use this
settings:
You
can choose which colour you like but I use a kind of
light colour. Now it should look like this:
Now
we have come to the part when we are going make the
ice. Hold ctrl and click on the “ice text”
layer. Click on channels and find a button with the
name save selection as channel, the name will have the
name “alpha 1”.
Click
Ctrl+D to deselect. And now you are going to do some
stuff in filter.
Filter>Brush
Strokes>Splatter and use:
Spray Radius: 15
Smoothness: 12
Filter>Artistic>Paint
Daubs and use:
Brush Size: 8
Sharpness: 7
Brush Type: Simple
Now
it should look like this;
Select
the “alpha 1” layer. Go to Select>modify>contract,
and make the settings so it looks suitable. Click on
save selection as channel so alpha 2 been created.
Filter>Brush
Strokes>Spatter again and this time you use:
Spray
Radius: 11
Smoothness: 7
Filter>Artistic>Paint
Daubs and use::
Brush Size: 8
Sharpness: 7
Brush Type: Simple
Ctrl
and click on the alpha 2 layer. Click on the alpha 1
layer and fill the selection with black so it look like
this:
Now
we are going to rotate the layer.
Image>Rotate>90
CCW
Filter>Stylize>Wind
Method: Wind
Direction: From the left
Now
should the “alpha 1” layer look like this:
Filter>Sketch>Plaster:
Image Balance: 20
Smoothness: 2
Filter>Stylize>Wind:

90 CW
Hold
Ctrl and click on the “alpha 1” layer to
load the selection. Go back to layers palleten and make
a new layer and make it over the ”ice text”
layer. Fill the selection with white colour and now
